Santorini

After Paros we left for a very different island Santorini in the southern Aegean's Cyclades islands. It curves round a giant lagoon, a caldera left by a volcanic eruption. We stayed in Oia and we had one of the best views on our trip right from our veranda. Oia is famous for its sunsets and they where very nice and the light every evening was spectacular. We rented a car one day to check out the island, had a day at the black volcanic sand beach and after that we just went home to our apartment to look at our view and relax in the spa on our balcony. The kids really could not wait to go back (!) so we decided to cut our trip short and go back to Sweden 3 days earlier that planned....
